If you’ve ever stuck your head out of a moving vehicle on the interstate going 75 miles per hour, and enjoyed it, you would love it here. You will frequently and most times by surprise feel that joy as the wind strikes your face.
June through about September 1st you will be able to see and feel the sun. It is marvelous. The joy of anticipation leading up to it, is unlike any joy you will experience in your life. And you get to feel that joy every. single. year.
The sound of the ocean is very soothing and the warm sand on your feet is incredible…but you won’t find that here. In exchange, you will get to make Olaf in your front yard if the temperature happens to land between 33 and 37 degrees which typically happens around May 15th.
A couple tips if you are considering a relocation to North Dakota:
- Watch as many episodes of Survivor as you can – you’ll thank me later
- Make sure your car has AstroStart. If you don’t know what that means, I hate you. Look it up.
Ask any North Dakotan farmer and they will tell you, this is God’s country.
And…maybe they’re right.
